Temporary Skin Texture & Resurfacing

Key Results

  • Skin Gloss: Increased by 21.34% in the PMD Pro + PMD Total Solution Cream group, compared with a 10.68% increase in the cream-only group (p = 0.029).
  • User Satisfaction: 100% of participants reported satisfaction, according to the study's self-assessment questionnaire.
  • Skin Irritation: A reported skin irritation index of 0.00.
  • Statistical Significance: The study summary reports that all results were statistically significant. Individual outcome measures and corresponding p-values should be confirmed against the full report.

Study Design & Population

  • A 28-day, single-center, controlled laboratory study evaluating the effects of PMD Pro used in combination with PMD Total Solution Cream compared with PMD Total Solution Cream alone. The study included 20 female subjects aged 30–55. Assessments were conducted at baseline (Week 0), Week 2, and Week 4.

    Treatment Protocol
  • Participants in the PMD Pro combination group used Massage Mode daily in the morning and evening (AM/PM), with Peeling Mode performed weekly in the evening (PM), alongside PMD Total Solution Cream for 28 days. The comparison group used PMD Total Solution Cream alone.

  • Usage: Single treatment session combining Peeling Mode followed immediately by Massage Mode.
  • Setting: Single-centre, controlled lab (Thermo-hygrostat room).
  • Equipment: PRIMOS 3D (Phaseshift Rapid In-vivo Measurement of Skin) surface micro-relief mapping, skin stimulation evaluation.
  • Stats: SPSS 18.0, Paired t-test / Independent t-test, p<0.05.

Results represent outcomes measured at Week 4 following 28 days of treatment.
